Wing-A-Rama Houston Giant Chicken Wing Festival
November 10, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm$20
By popular demand, SGD Events will host the first annual Wing-A-Rama Houston Chicken Wing Festival on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 1 to 5 p.m. at POST Houston (the old Barbara Jordan Post Office downtown). SGD Events hosted Wing-A-Rama in Austin in 2017 and 2018 with sold-out crowds at both events, and with continuous fan demand they are excited to debut Wing-A-Rama in Houston.
Attendees will rate and enjoy unlimited wing tastings (while supplies last) from 20+ of Houston’s best chefs and restaurants that will be competing for titles of “Best Chicken Wings” and “Best Chicken Wing Inspired Dish.” There will also be a flaming hot chicken wing-eating contest for 10 brave contestants who will take center stage alongside a panel of food influencer judges. Additionally, the event will feature an exclusive VIP section, appearances and activations from the Houston Astros and Houston Dynamo, among others, and further surprises to be announced closer to the event.
“Little Wing” (GA) ticket holders ($35) will enjoy unlimited chicken wings from 1 to 5 p.m. “Hot Wing” (VIP) ticket holders ($80) will be given early access to the event at 11:30 a.m. as well as access to an exclusive VIP section that will feature a private bar and much more. Additionally, there is an Early Entry ticket tier available ($42.50) that will have the same benefits as GA ticket holders and will also be able to enter the festival an hour early at 12 p.m. For the eager wing lovers out there, a limited amount of “Early Bird” GA and Early Entry tickets are being released at a discounted rate (GA – $20, Early Entry – $32.50). Additional fees and taxes may be applied to each ticket sold. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
The event will occur rain or shine and ticket refunds are not available. Children under the age of 7 do not need a ticket to enter the event as long as they are accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or guardian.
