Join the Houston Downtown Management District (Downtown District) and Pinot’s Palette every third Wednesday from April to September for fun and fine art at Main Street Square. Pinot’s Palette will provide canvases and paint, and artist instructors will guide participants through a featured painting. At the end of the evening, guests will leave with their very own masterpiece.
Happy Hour with Pinot’s Palette takes place under Trumpet Flower, an outdoor canopy structure designed by Houston artist Patrick Renner and constructed by the Flying Carpet Collective. The installation is part of the Art Blocks public art initiative on view in Main Street Square.
Admission is $22 and includes wine, as well as light bites provided by Phoenicia Specialty Foods. On-street parking is free after 6 p.m. and there are a variety of garage and surface lot parking options nearby. METRORail’s Main Street Square station is just steps away, and a BCycle station is located at the corner of Main and Walker.
