If you are like me your 2018 has been very busy, sprinkled with a little stress and lots of long days! So when I got the invitation from Karbach Brewing Company to attend their new Weekday Warrior Beer launch event, being hosted at a great place for some mid-week de-stressing, I was all over it!
The launch event was held at Tantrums, LLC. Their slogan is…“Relaxation after devastation. Breaking things is what we do!” [amazon_textlink asin=’B076CY7GP9′ text=’PLEASE & THANK YOU’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’056482372410′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’75c8904b-2295-11e8-9072-9fb1bd8aac35′]. Yes, it’s one of those places that lets you break stuff to get out stress and anger! You can destroy cars, break dishes, glasses, TV’s, computers, stuffed animals, pictures, and so on. To say I was extremely relaxed and in my happy place after bursting out a few car windows and destroying a room full of breakables would be an understatement! It was a very cool experience and would make for a fun event with a group of friends!
After that it was time to grab a cold beer and try out the new Weekday Warrior Beer from Karbach; I will not confirm or deny if I had two before starting to destroy everything in sight! Swanky Girl fact…I’m not much of a beer drinker, so I had my fingers crossed that I would like it. With only three sips in I knew we had a winner. Then I got my guest (my plus one) and a few others that I know pretty well who enjoy a good beer to weigh in with a verdict. I got everything from “I love it” to “It’s a solid beer”. I enjoyed the fact that it had a light body with a nice clean and crisp taste. It is also under 130 calories per can which is a major plus. This is a beer that I would recommend and would definitely order/buy for myself.
Here’s what Karbach says about it, “This session IPA is 4.5% ABV packed with four separate hops ( Denali, Callista, Citra, Chinook), which gives huge hop flavor and aroma. It has multiple malts ( 2 row pale, wheat, flaked oats, medium crystal), and an IBU score of 34. It’s meant to be paired with an array of savory and flavorful foods, such as ceviche, jerk chicken sandwiches, mango-habanero glazed pork chops, and cheddar burgers.”
Do you have a favorite Karbach beer?
