From art shows to culinary festivals, speakeasies, concerts, live performances, and pop-up shops, there is always something to do and to get into in H-town! Check out the fun things to do in Houston this week:

The Ultimate Willy Wonka Party (Sunday, September 24th)

Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory is a movie classic that is loved by the young and old. That’s why Alamodraft House is hosting The Ultimate Willy Wonka Party with a live in-person appearance by cast members Mike TeeVee (Paris Themmen) and Veruca Salt (Julie Dawn Cole). Go enjoy the movie and then hang around for a Q & A with them!

Rooftop Yoga (Sunday, September 24th)

It’s time for the 5th Annual Rooftop Yoga “It’s All About U” event for charity!  You will have a day of yoga and great fun. Make sure to invite all your yogi pals, bring your yoga mats, water and anything you need to feel comfortable. Tickets start at $30 per person.

Texas Ink & Art Fest (Friday, September 29th)

Lovers of ink will gather at the Galveston Island Convention Center for three days loaded with entertainment, ink and some of the best tattoo artists in the country! You’ll enjoy live tattooing, tattoo art, contests, and even a freak show. Tickets are $20 per day or $35 for a 3-day pass.

Whiskies of the World (Saturday, September 30th)

If you are a fan of whiskey, then head to the ultimate whiskey tasting at Whiskies of the World. Join enthusiasts, makers, and ambassadors as you have your choice to sample over 200 expressions of scotch, bourbon, Irish, Canadian, and other international whiskeys. Guests can also attend seminars and enjoy food and cigar pairings. Tickets are $120 and include 12 whiskey samples.

Octoberfest Houston (Saturday, September 30th)

In Houston, October brings us fall weather, Halloween fun, and Octoberfest Houston! It is the event that we showcase German and Texas culture. Make your way to Buffalo Bayou Park for beer, polka, food, and fun. Tickets for the event start at $25 for pre-sale and $30 at the door.
