Each week, we will bring you five swanky (and hand-picked) events that are sure to keep your social life in check. From art shows to culinary festivals, speakeasies, concerts, live performances, and pop-up shops, there is always something to do and to get into in H-town! Check out the fun things to do in Houston this week:

Reserve 101 Hosts a Hudson Whiskey Tasting (Wednesday, May 24th)

Wanna sip on good whiskey and help animals at the same damn time? Well, that can be a reality if you head to Reserve 101 on May 24th! They will be hosting a Hudson Whiskey Tasting where 100% of the proceeds will go to The Rescued Pet’s Movement. Tickets are $20 per person.

Spring Concert Series (Thursday, May 25th)

Market Street’s 8-week spring concert series returns to entertain the crowds with various musical genres from country, rock, to jazz. Each Thursday, a different band will perform and this week features acoustic guitar sounds by Zach Person. This event is free to attend.

Circo Avenida (Friday, May 26th)

Kick your evening off at 7:30 p.m. and watch as Houston-based contemporary circus troupe, Cirque La Vie, performs to live music by the Two Star Symphony. eVenti Verticali will follow up with a performance at 9 pm on the Avenida. This event is free to attend.

Ice Cream Making with Chocolate Wasted (Saturday, May 27th)

Let’s all scream for the summer being right around the corner and for ice cream! If you want to take it a step further, why not learn how to make your own ice cream and really turn-up the summer fun. The folks from the popular food truck Chocolate Wasted will be teaching the basics and how to make these cool treats! The cost is $35 per person.

Madness on Main Music Festival (Sunday, May 28th)

All you need is one wristband to get your all access pass to the 4th annual Madness On Main Street. Hosted by 8th Wonder Brewery, this music festival will showcase over 20 bands on three stages, art installations, food trucks, and even an art market! Tickets range from $15 to $22. Children 12 and under are free.
