Each week, we will bring you five swanky (and hand-picked) events that are sure to keep your social life in check. From art shows to culinary festivals, speakeasies, concerts, live performances, and pop-up shops, there is always something to do and to get into in H-town! Check out the fun things to do in Houston this week:

Sip & Summer on 19th Street (Thursday, May 18th)

Every 3rd Thursday in the Summer, the 19th Street shops are rolling out the red carpet so you all can sip, shop, and enjoy the evening! There will be BBQ dishes from Shade Heights and Harold’s Restaurant & Tap Room. This event is free to the public.

Greek Fest (Friday, May 19th)

Enjoy a taste of the Hellenic culture at the annual Houston Greekfest! Attendees will enjoy plenty of food and fun including delicious authentic Greek cuisine, children’s activities, live dance performances, and an outdoor marketplace that will feature art, jewelry, and more! Tickets are $5 for adults and free for children under 10.

Santo de Mayo Pub Crawl (Saturday, May 20th)

Hosted by Saint Arnold Brewing Company, the Santo de Mayo Pubcrawl is headed back to Montrose! After receiving your route, participants will set off on an adventure making pit stops at Hay Merchant, La Grange, Stone’s Throw, Poison Girl, and several others. This event is free to attend, but your are responsible for any drinks. Happy crawling!

Cochon 555 (Sunday, May 21st)

One of the most popular pork-focused events of the year is headed back to Houston! Cochon555 will bring five chefs, five heritage breed pigs, and 5 winemakers together under one roof for a unbelievable throwdown! Local chefs participating in this year’s competition include Bobby Matos of State of Grace, Manabu ‘Hori’ Horiuchi of Kata Robata, Felix Florez of Ritual, Luis Roger of BCN Taste & Tradition, and Monica Pope of Sparrow Cookshop. Tickets are $125 for general admission and $200 for VIP.

Love Street Music Fest (Sunday, May 21st)

The Love Street Music Fest is like an open love letter and homage to the Love Street venue from the 1960’s. It was a spot that had some great music and equally as great socializing! So Karbach Brewing is bringing it back. The day will be filled with live music and amazing beer. General admission tickets start at $34.
