If you love or even like whiskey then make your way to Reserve 101 on July 25th as they host Mark Gillespie of WhiskeyCast for a whiskey tasting. Mark will lead a tasting of Weller Antique, Knob Creek Single Barrel, and Yamazaki 12-year just to name a few. Tickets are only $20, and 100% of the proceeds go to the Rescued Pet Movement.
Food lovers get ready because it’s time for the 2nd Annual Live & Dine Houston! This throwdown has the city’s best culinary talent competing for the title of best and finest fare. Tickets start at $40, and all the proceeds from the ticket sales go to charity.
In the celebration of black women, The Black Girl Magic Art Show will showcase the talents of local artists. The art show will also feature an outdoor market with over a dozen vendors and open mic performances. This event is free to attend.
Lavender & Honey Tea Party (Saturday, July 29th)
Learn to make sweet treats using lavender and honey at Tea+Art in The Heights. You’ll enjoy an afternoon sipping on lavender infused teas as you create Lavender Yogurt, Lavender Biscotti, and Lavender Honey. Tickets are $40 per person.
Brunch lovers we have a brunch event that you will not want to miss! Southern Goods is hosting what they are calling the Flesh & Bone Brunch. Don’t let the name scare you, but instead let it evoke a jump up and down joy inside you. The event is an all you eat buffet style brunch featuring cocktail specials. Tickets for this event start $30.
