The Big Bao Battle (Wednesday, January 24th)

Food lovers!!! The 2nd Annual Big Bao Battle Chef Cook-Off Competition is going down! A fun and exciting evening of delicious food, refreshing drinks and an amazing view at the beautiful Ballroom venue downtown. Watch 12 local chefs prepare live and throwdown their own special version of a traditional Chinese steamed bao! It’s all-you-can-eat, so be prepared to nom nom nom.

Girls Night Out: Twilight Market (Thursday, January 25th)

Grab your girls and make your way to the Girls Night Out- Twilight Market hosted by Shop Local. This party on the patio will have a plethora of delicious dark liquor for you to enjoy a few sips while doing a little shopping and dancing. This event is free to the public!

90’s Bar Crawl (Saturday, January 27th)

If you’re a 90’s baby or lover of all things 90’s we got something special for you! It’s the 90’s Bar Crawl and an epic evening of throwback fun. You will make your way to several bars that will be playing 90’s music and offering drink specials all night long (did we mention the first 10 albums of “NOW That’s What I Call Music” will be in rotation?).

The Meetup: Fashion & Art Event (Saturday, January 27th)

The Meetup is a curated Urban Market & Social featuring art, fashion, and music. This event is free to the public and sponsored by Under The Radar Brewery and TOPO CHICO. Plan to have a day of fun shopping vintage and designer goods, listening to live music, and interacting with the local artists. There will be lots to get into, so make sure you are ready for lots of fun times.

Roller Rooftop (Saturday, January 27th)

Attention Houston area roller skaters and fans of roller derby! On January 27th, access to the rooftop parking lot at Khon’s Bar will be cut off to cars and open to skating wheels only! Picture this: roughly 10,000 square feet of smooth cement with a view of the downtown skyline, and your very own rooftop bar. There will be a live DJ and lots of games too. Bring your outdoor wheels, pads & helmets and meet local peeps from all around town!
