Each week, we will bring you five swanky (and hand-picked) events that are sure to keep your social life in check. From art shows to culinary festivals, speakeasies, concerts, live performances, and pop-up shops, there is always something to do and to get into in H-town! Check out the fun things to do in Houston this week:

Whiskey & Chocolate Tasting (Wednesday, February 14th)

Since we love whiskey and adore chocolate, we had to let you all know that one of our faves, Reserve 101 Whiskey Bar, is hosting their Annual Valentine’s Day Whiskey & Chocolate tasting featuring 4 Balcones Whiskies paired with Chocolates by Cacao & Cardamom! This event will likely sell out, so they are offering two settings – one at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Steak Night At Beavers (Thursday, February 15th)

Are you looking for the best steak night in the city?!?! Well, Beaver’s on Westheimer is definitely in the running for that title, and they’ve got a smokin’ hot deal! Every Thursday they are serving up 14 oz. 44 Farms Ribeye Steaks with chef’s choice of a side for $25! Plus they are offering pint specials all night to make the event even better.

Wine On The Green (Saturday, February 17th)

Houston are you ready for “THE” wine event of the year (and 2018 just started)? Well, make your way to Wine On The Green! This one-day intimate wine experience will focus on showcasing international and local wines for all wine lovers. There will be over 60 wines, great music, and lots of fun to be had by all.

Mashed 2: A Mash-up Art Show (Saturday, February 17th)

Hardy & Nance Studios will host a special art show, MASHED II: A Mash-up Art Show, with a theme that focuses on and showcases mashed-up art styles. Think post impressionism blended with surrealism and Walking Dead and My Little Pony using a variety of methods, characters, subjects, mediums (acrylic, charcoal, fiber, etc.) and they’ll even be some artist collaborations.

Lunar New Year Festival (Saturday, February 17th)

Head to the Chinese Community Center for the 15th annual Lunar New Year festival. This fun-filled family festival will feature a full day of music, dance, and martial arts performances from across the cultural spectrum, complete with an Asian bazaar that showcases the best Asian foods, arts and crafts.
