Literary Libations Week (Monday-Friday, August 14-18th)

In support of the Texas Book Festival, Houston restaurants are giving back. During the second annual Literary Libations Week, 28 bars across Texas will each create a signature, literary-themed cocktail inspired by classic works and new novels. In Houston, head to Mongoose versus Cobra, B & B Butchers & Restaurant, or Lucille’s to enjoy their creative cocktails.

Vibe & Ride (Friday, August 18th)

Vibe to the cool tunes of Solange Knowles as you cruise around the streets of H-town! Let’s Do This Houston is bringing back this event that will allow you to take in interesting sights while listening to great tunes, as you get a little cardio in too. Make sure you dress in comfort gear and please bring water to stay hydrated. Tickets for this event start at $5 per person.
