We are huge Cirque Du Soleil fans and try to catch all the shows that come to Houston! This is in addition to attending a show or two whenever we go to Vegas, since many of the casinos have their own Cirque Du Soleil show. And just like Vegas, each time they visit Houston they bring a different show.

This time around the show is called Kurios: Cabinet Of Curiosities! Not to spill any tea or spoil it, but this one is jammed packed with excitement and fun. It’s our favorite installment of Cirque Du Soleil to date and they will be in our lovely city through May 21, 2017.

About the Show

In an alternate yet familiar past, in a place where wonders abound for those who trust their imagination, a Seeker discovers that in order to glimpse the marvels that lie just below the surface, we must first learn to close our eyes. In his larger-than-life curio cabinet, the Seeker is convinced that there exists a hidden, invisible world – a place where the craziest ideas and the grandest dreams lie waiting.

A collection of otherworldly characters suddenly steps into his makeshift mechanical world. When the outlandish, benevolent characters turn his world upside down with a touch of poetry and humor in an attempt to ignite the Seeker’s imagination, his curios jump to life one by one before his very eyes.

I have never been to a Cirque Du Soleil event. I would be most interested in the ability to perform a show with only using your body strength as a visual of entertainment.

I love Alegria! It was the best show ever, but I think this one might just top it! La Nouba in Orlando is also really good; I especially love the music of that one.

Wow.. my son and I love every show we have seen. The best and most kid friendly was OVO a few years back. I would love to take him to this one!
