Urban Swank is partnering with the Houston Press for a pretty “tasty” giveaway!
On Tuesday, April 8, 2014, Houston Press will host its 12th annual food and wine extravaganza from 7–10 p.m. at Silver Street Station (1501 Silver Street) off Washington Ave. The Menu of Menus Extravaganza presented by Stella Artois is one of Houston’s largest food & wine events featuring over 40 area restaurants alongside wine, beer and spirit sampling.
The event will also feature the 3nd Annual Iron Fork Competition presented by Whole Foods Market. Celebrity chef, Randy Evans of Haven will moderate the competition between two local chefs as they go head-to-head to produce the best dish using a basket of secret ingredients. Two time champion, Kevin Naderi of Roost will be defending his title against challenger, Kevin Bryant of Eleven IX, in this competition. The dishes will be presented to an expert panel of judges including Houston Press’ own food critic, Kaitlin Steinburg. General Admission tickets ($40) include food, beer, wine and liquor sampling. VIP ($80) includes entrance into the event 1 hour prior to the general public and complimentary valet before 6:30pm.
The following restaurants have been added as participants: The Cajun Stop, Orange Leaf Yogurt Memorial City, Shipley Do-Nuts, Brio Tuscan Grille, Frank’s Americana Revival, Listos Restaurant, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Los Cucos Mexican Cafe, Radical Eats, Harvest Organic Grille, Tejano Salsa, Danton’s Gulf Coast Seafood Kitchen, and Haven Restaurant & Cove Cold Bar .
One (1) lucky winner will receive two general admission passes to this event. Winner will be announced and contacted by Sunday, March 30, 2014.
