Taking place in San Marcos, TX, July 16th – 17th, the third annual Float Fest will feature bigger musical acts, a curated food and beverage program including craft cocktails, and for the first time, camping and tubing are included in the weekend ticket price! It’s San Marcos’ only major music festival; this year featuring Chromeo, Rick Ross, Santigold, Future Islands, Big Gigantic, Kongos, Metric, Bleachers, Yeasayer, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Slim Thug, Rooney, Auto Body, Nina Diaz, Fat Tony, Wild Moccasins, Night Drive, Emily Bell & The Talkbacks, Blue Healer, Holiday Mountain, Riders Against the Storm, Blue, The Misfit, Pop Pistol, Buhu, and Löwin – between two stages.

Tickets for the weekend are available in General Admission for $99 and VIP for $299. Parking is $10. General admission passes include tubing, camping, and a weekend jam packed with fun. A VIP ticket includes exclusive perks such as side stage viewing deck, an air conditioned lounge, an outdoor patio with umbrellas and picnic tables, a bar with complimentary mixed drinks and beer, as well as rapid entry, and a food truck pavilion.

Held on the beautiful and sprawling Cool River Ranch, the festival site is quintessential central Texas and features 220 acres, on site parking, camping, thatched-roof cabanas, San Marcos river access, and is close to local hotels and amenities. As one of the region’s most popular river tubing destinations, people from across The Lone Star State make San Marcos a mecca for Texans to cool off in the cold spring water escaping the heat. More than half of Float Fest attendees come from markets further than Austin and San Antonio, especially Houston and Dallas.
