The Grove is back once again with Sundown at the Grove, a weekly event featuring beer flights and food pairings to help Houstonians beat the heat in delicious style. Every Wednesday starting June 22 until August 31, The Grove will feature a flight of four different beers from a different brewery—each paired with a carefully curated bite—hosted on its breezy upstairs patio overlooking Discovery Green.

Sundown at the Grove kicked off the summer series with a feature of four Saint Arnold beers along with a bonus special tasting of Saint Arnold’s BB12 Christmas ale aged chardonnay barrels. Beer offerings included Lawnmower, Elyssa, Amber and Santo, paired with a gulf oyster chowder garnished with rooftop herb oyster crackers, a crawfish twist on the lobster roll; Boston baked beans with Texas ham and jalapeno cornbread, and mini boston cream pies filled with roasted corn cream and malt chocolate frosting, respectively.

Sundown at the Grove runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday. Tickets are $22.75 and include 4, 4-oz. pours and food pairings. Purchase tickets here.
