Here’s the Skinny: Owner Matthew Miu may state that his fast casual food truck serves “Japanese food with a twist” but we know better. We highly recommend you not take that statement too lightly as the “twist” carries a lot more weight than you would expect. How does one like Matthew who has had years of experience working in some of the top restaurants in Houston choose to “self express”? Well, he creates a slammin’ bite-sized sammich like his Bacon Jammin’ Karaage Biscuits. This personal favorite is created by uniting honey cheddar biscuits, Asian chicken nuggets that are fried with tempura corn, and bourbon bacon jam. We are telling you the truth when we say that we held our mouths in both excitement and delight at what we had just experienced. Many of the dishes coming out of the truck seem simplistic in nature but result from pure genius. The flavors captured almost pull you in, and with only one bite, you are sold! We love the concept of the cuisine and it is definitely not one to be defined as one dimensional.
