Urban Swank Does…McDonald’s New Fresh Beef Quarter Pounder Burger (Plus A Giveaway)

You guys know we are always on the hunt for good food and to keep you all in the know about what’s happening in the world of food. So a few weeks ago when we got word that McDonald’s was going to start using 100% fresh beef in their Quarter Pounder burgers we had to investigate. Upon doing some intense research by way of some major tasting of burgers with tons of fresh beef and customized to our liking, we are happy to report it is true!

The burger giant will offer 100% fresh beef in the Quarter Pounder and Signature Crafted Recipe burgers in all their Houston restaurants! Their fresh meat has absolutely no fillers, additives or preservatives. Whether you use the app on your phone or opt to dine-in and use the kiosk to customize your burger, all burgers are cooked to order for a hotter and juicer burger.

Random fun fact…Did you know you could change the bread out on your Quarter Pounder burger and request it on Texas Toast? It is seriously delicious.

Since we believe sharing is caring we are giving 3 lucky winners $25 gift cards so they can try the new fresh beef in a Quarter Pounder or Signature Crafted Recipe burger and they will also enjoy some fun swag from McDonald’s. Entry is below.

But first, watch the video as we check out the new fresh beef burgers customized by us and cooked to order.

It’s been ages since I had a quarter pounder. Lately I’ve been addicted to the artisan combos. I would probably add bacon and see if different sauces were available.

Adding bacon is a nice touch. I think next time I’ll add 3 slices plus more cheese and tomoatos.

I haven’t seen those customization kiosks before. That’s awesome!

I always go without onions, but had no idea that you could do bacon and Texas Toast. I’m definitely all about trying that combo. Oh, and double meat too.. because why not? XD
