BBQ is one of those things that is very personal for many folks. It is something they grow up eating or making, they went to a family favorite spot or trailer, and we could go on and on with the things and places that make it personal. The one thing that brings them [us] all together and we can all agree on is the love for that smoky goodness! And one of our favorite meeting places is the Houston BBQ Festival!
This year’s festival had all the pitmasters stepping their game up and pulling out all the stops. There was Prime Rib from Corkscrew BBQ; Pinkerton’s BBQ started with bacon wrapped duck and brisket, then served a different meat every hour; and Ray’s BBQ Shack always gives the most variety serving up beef belly, beef ribs, beef briskets, rib tips, fried corn, and sausage (we know we are missing about 2 more things).
Instead of just telling you, why not show you since we took a few BBQ and fun pics from the festival!
