The Austin based Pluckers Wing Bar will open its first Houston restaurant on Monday, November 25, 2013. Located at 1400 Shepherd Dr., the restaurant will be open Sunday – Wednesday from 11 am – 2 am, Thursdays from 11 am – 1 am and Friday– Saturday from 11 am – 2 am. With over 60 HD televisions, including behind the mirrors of their bathrooms, it will be the perfect place to watch sports games with friends and family while enjoying delicious food.

Pluckers Wing Bar specializes in chicken wings, but also serves burgers, sandwiches, salads and desserts. Guests can choose from traditional or boneless wings served with a choice of 19 sauces such as garlic Parmesan and spicy ranch. Other menu selections include Waffles N’ Cheese, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Honey BBQ Chicken Chop, Twice Baked Potato Casserole and Fried Oreos. In addition to dine-in and take-out options, Pluckers Wing Bar also offers catering for corporate events.

Pluckers Wing Bar owners Mark Greenberg, Dave Paul and Sean Greenberg decided to open a Houston location after spending 12 years establishing their business. Since opening their first restaurant in Austin in 1995, Pluckers has expanded to Baton Rouge, Dallas/Fort Worth, Killeen and San Marcos. Along the way, Pluckers has been named a “Top Ten Wing Restaurant” by USA today and a “Top 5 Sports Bar in North America” on ESPN. “We’ve been trying to get to Houston for years,” says Greenberg. “We just couldn’t find the right location.  Each restaurant is designed to be part of the town, to be a place you take your friends when they come to visit.  We have so many friends and family in Houston, we were extra discerning and that makes it special.  It’s a food town; people truly appreciate good food and they like their sports – it’s our kind of place.”
