As the crawfish season heats up, hungry Houstonians are out looking for the best boiled mudbugs in town. Look no further! Landry’s, Inc. has recently unveiled its first food wagon, which will service events at a number of the company’s properties throughout the season.
Unlike traditional crawfish cooking, Landry’s mobile food production wagon has capabilities of producing up to 1,000 lbs. of crawfish an hour. It is completely self–contained and portable.
The wagon is currently located at the Kemah Boardwalk for its annual crawfish festivals. In the coming weeks, it will travel to crawfish events at the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, Landry’s Seafood Woodlands, Babin’s Seafood, Fisherman’s Wharf, Willie G’s and Brenner’s on the Bayou.
The crawfish wagon will serve up hot mudbugs at the following locations throughout April – all events outlined below are open to the public:
- April 11: Kemah Boardwalk Crawfish Cajun Fridays
- April 12 – 13: Kemah Boardwalk Crawfish Festival
- April 18: Kemah Boardwalk Crawfish Cajun Fridays
- April 25 – 27: Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier Crawfish Weekend
Landry’s crawfish wagon will travel to any public or private event located in Houston and surrounding areas. It is available to rent for company functions, parties, festivals, weddings, picnics, etc. Please contact Kemah’s sales office at (281) 538-9600 for additional information.
