Goode Company’s Armadillo Palace has partnered with Houston’s only jitney, The Houston Wave, to bus Houstonians to and from Reliant Stadium every day throughout the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Houston Rodeo Barbeque Cookoff, from Thursday, February 21 through Sunday, March 17, 2013.

The Armadillo Palace and The Houston Wave’s collaboration was established to help relieve the burden of traveling to and from Reliant in traffic, and to keep drunk drivers off the streets. For just $20 round trip, those going to the Rodeo can start and end their experience at Goode’s Armadillo Palace. Beginning on February 19th, the Armadillo Palace will stay open seven days a week with buses running daily throughout the Rodeo season.

Goode’s Armadillo Palace is taking measures to ensure their patrons make the most out of the 2013 Rodeo season by offering $10 buckets of beer for Wave riders, and a new dance floor to accompany their full line-up of live Texas music shows happening Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights throughout the three-week period. Late-night acts include Two Tons of Steel, Jesse Dayton, Dale Watson, Gary P. Nunn, and more, making Goode’s Armadillo Palace the perfect pre-party and late-night Rodeo spot.

Passengers and potential riders may view a complete pick-up and drop-off schedule and purchase their tickets to ride the Houston Wave to and from Goode’s Armadillo Palace at, or contact The Wave at 713-863-9283.
