Executive Chef/Owner Lance Fegen teamed up with his kitchen chef’s to create special dishes for both BRC Gastropub and Liberty Kitchen & Oyster Bar for National Food Holidays in April. Both restaurants will offer monthly creations based on the list of food holidays.
National Food Holidays
April 1 Peanut Butter & Jelly Day – Both locations will offer Peanut Butter & Jelly Cakes for dessert. They cakes are made by Petite Sweets.
April 5 Caramel Day – Liberty Kitchen will offer a caramel and bourbon ‘adult’ milk shake. BRC will offer a caramel & porter beer “adult” milk shake.
April 8 Empanada Day – Liberty Kitchen will offer a crawfish tail and andouille empanada. BRC will offer a lobster, bacon, apple & fontina cheese empanada.
April 12 Grilled Cheese Day – Liberty Kitchen will offer a lobster grilled cheese with tomato sandwich. BRC will offer a pork belly, fried goat cheese, jalapeño, cheddar, fontina grilled cheese sandwich.
April 13 Peach Cobbler Day – Both restaurants will offer a cobbler for two served in cast iron skillets. BRC’s version will use our signature biscuit dough baked on top like a piecrust.
April 23 Picnic Day – Both restaurants will serve two pieces of cold fried chicken, potato salad, grilled jalapeno with a drink – enjoy it at the restaurant or take it as a lunch special to go!
April 27 Prime Rib Day – Both restaurants will serve prime grade prime rib with a rosemary and salt crust, garlicky au jus, creamed spinach, smashed Yukon gold potatoes.
April 29 Shrimp Scampi Day – Garlicky shrimp scampi with steamed white rice and goat cheese toast will be served at BRC. Over at Liberty, guests will enjoy shrimp & crawfish scampi, spaghetti, garlic cheese toast.
