If you have ever visited a Brazilian steakhouse you may remember sampling (or for me grubbing on) those delectable bite sized Pão de Queijo (AKA Brazilian Cheese Bread). Quite addictive with an amazing texture in the form of soft, chewy, pull apart, gooeyness, these “puffs” are a snack lovers little piece of heaven. And if you are a cheese lover, which I admittedly attest to being, you’ve fallen even harder for these pillowy bites.

Little did I know that I could actually enjoy them at home (without grabbing a handful on my way out of the steakhouse) by way of Brazi Bites. Available in four flavors: Original (Cheddar and Parmesan), Garlic Asiago, Bacon, and Jalapeno Pepper Jack, each package comes with about 20 cheese puffs that after a quick zap in the oven produce your new favorite snack. Add in the fact that they are gluten free, non-GMO, 100% natural, with no preservatives, trans fat, or sugar, there is really nothing holding you back!

I got the chance to try three of the flavors and I will admit to being partial to the Original. It’s just something about that bold and sharp cheese flavor that shines through and draws me in. The only downfall – it is nearly impossible to eat just one. My recommendation? Just bake the whole bag and thank me later. Brazi Bites are available at Whole Foods and Sprouts Markets here in Houston and are most definitely worthy of a try.
