Adair Kitchen created by siblings Nick Adair and Katie Adair Barnhart, serving American Cuisine, simple favorites, morning, noon, and night, made with the freshest and highest quality ingredients. “Our mother created most of the recipes we are using,” stated Barnhart. “Growing up, we ate dinner together every evening,” added Adair. “Our mother is a great cook.” Adair Kitchen will offer counter service during breakfast and lunch, and table service during dinner.

“I was two years old when my father, Gary Adair, started Skeeter’s Hamburgers,” stated Adair. “I guess you can say my sister and I grew up in restaurants. Both Katie and I have always wanted a restaurant that served the food we love to eat, and the way our mother cooked, fresh and simple and all natural.”

“We love our mother’s salads,” stated Adair. “She had a way of making healthy food taste gourmet. They were always fresh, and she allowed us to choose what we wanted in our salad – from spring mix, spinach or butter lettuce, to avocado, bacon, black beans, and grilled chicken, ahi tuna or steak, so we are going to let our diners do the same.”

The two-story, floor-to-ceiling windows at the front of the restaurant create an airy and light-filled dining room. The focus of the interior is a black, ten-foot sheet metal pig dancing above a row of booths.  “My mom has a thing for pigs,” added Barnhart. “You may remember we once owned the Flying Pig restaurant. What you see here is us carrying on the tradition.”

The Adair Kitchen is owned by The Adair Family, which also owns Los Tios Mexican Restaurants and Skeeter’s Hamburgers.
