Sweater: Michael Kors; Skirt: similiar here and here; Clutch: similiar here; Scarf: Banana Republic; Lipstick: M.A.C.

Okay, am I the only one that’s upset St. Patrick’s Day is on a Monday this year? Now my plans of having an afternoon of green cocktails and beer, followed by a little dancing, while looking FIERCE is out! I will now have to be more strategic with my time because I must go to work (day job problems). That only leaves me with a few power hours to hit the pubs right after to get my fix of green beer. UGGHHH…what’s a girl to do; more importantly what will I wear?!?! For me, being a fashionably responsible celebrator is a prerequisite, so I must select a fun look that is also work friendly.

Since you all are my peeps, I wanted to share what I will be rocking next Monday on St. Patrick’s Day Green Day. I’ve paired a green Michael Kors sweater, with a navy and black textured Classique Entier skirt which makes for a nice color combination. For the office I’ve added a pair of black tights, which I will lose once I leave work. Then for a little more sass and edge I’ve added a green and black scarf to my hair, along with pumping up its volume (big hair don’t care). Lastly, I’ve added black lipstick to my lips to give the completed look some edge. Who knows, maybe the luck of the Irish will be with me, and I’ll find a cutie and pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

What are you planning to wear for St. Paddy’s day? Will your look change with the holiday falling on a weekday?
