Sometimes we fail to appreciate the simple things in life. You know, that outfit that allows you get to dressed and ready for an event in record time? Yep, that one. One of my favorite out-the-door-in-five-minutes dresses has two really important characteristics/features – it doesn’t wrinkle and I can literally sleep in the material (jersey rules!)

I love this dress for its versatility and the amazing calico print allows it to be dressed up or dressed down. Let’s start with the evening version – woven scarf, patent leather “hot” red belt for some color, a few arm pieces to match, and a pair of chunky heels. Just say you wanted to transition into something a little more comfortable. Well, with a slight modification of the patent leather belt to something wider and a quick change of shoes to, let’s say, a pair of flat sandals or wedges, you can easily add a few more “happy hours” to your day or night! The turtleneck in the dress adds a bit of unexpected flair and messy hair is sooo underrated.

So what is your go to out-the-door-in-five-minutes look?
