Over the years, I will admit that my style has changed. Even though I still ride on the conservative side of the fence, I do like to add a little edge to my outfits.

Contrast is great for many reasons and many seasons and the subtle pop that is the result of mixing light and dark tones is always a hit. My knee length fitted skirt is a piece everyone should have in their closet. It is comfortable and goes great with just about anything I wear from a t-shirt to a button up top. The sheer in this peplum blouse paired with my zip-up booties and chunky watch is the perfect attire for a night on the town. I can quickly transition this look from happy hour to night out with my man or my girls with just a change in shoes. I would rock a basic pump for after work cocktails and pull a switcheroo before heading out – it’s amazing how much your shoe choice can change up your entire look. The suede purse adorned with metal edges and flaps also accentuates the right amount of edge. With my hair worn with big curls in a natural style, all I can say is…watch out now!

What wardrobe styles do you tend to mix?
