Can I get a little me time is all I’ve had on the brain lately! Yeah, it’s been a crazy busy Spring and Summer for ya girl and I need a little me time AKA pampering time or to those that know me best…a SPA DAY honey. Just so happen I know just the place that can take care of the problem – Alira Boutique Spa & Salon.

A few months back we (Urban girl and myself) decided to finally take owner Escarle Silva up on her offer to give Alira a try; since we considered ourselves spa girls and we needed a good massage (Urban girl) and facial (Swanky girl).

This adorable boutique had us excited as soon as we walked into the space because of the ambiance and wonderful energy. We have visited many spas and for many that relaxed energy does not happen until you land in the relaxation room.  We had a tough time deciding on our spa services, which ranged from hot stone massage, aromatherapy massage, Vitamin C Infusion, and a Marmalade Spice Scrub, just to name a few. We landed on a Swedish massage and the Alira Signature Experience facial for Urban Girl and the same facial with Microdermabrasion for me. Our bodies and faces were screaming with joy and we were in a complete Zen-like state, because we were so relaxed and refreshed.

They pride themselves on providing and using some of the highest quality massage creams and lotions to achieve the best results for their client’s skin. The exceptional spa services and customer service are equal opportunity; so fellas you too can treat yourself with a day of relaxation and pampering. The men’s products are just as top-notch and amazing as the ones for the ladies. Alira can also get you wedding ready or “party like a rock star” ready, by offering hair salon services and make-up in addition to the beauty enhancing and relaxation services.

Escarle has many years of working within the beauty industry and in the corporate world, which helped get her prepared to launch Alira Spa with exceptional customer service in mind; it was felt from each interaction we had during our visit. That’s all I got for now, because I need to go book my appointment and get this me time scheduled in the next few weeks.
