In this months HAWT report I’m bringing you a few of my favorite things! If this is your first HAWT report let me give you the 411…I love sharing great finds, brainstorms, and really whatever the heck is on my mind! Sometimes many of these things and ideas are pretty HAWT and even thought provoking (go figure). Since I do have my own little space in the world to share, I figured why the hell not share with some of my favorites peeps…how freakin’ lucky are you?!?! Each month I will bring you The HAWT Report with great fashion finds, cool gadgets, health and beauty must-haves, exciting trends, and whatever else I feel fits!
This dense bristle brush works great to give you even and very natural looking coverage for foundation, loose powder, and even bronzer. The Kabuki brush comes in several different shapes for different applications. This flat surface one is a favorite because it can get to those hard to reach areas in a simple sweep of the brush. Another reason it’s so HAWT- it does not absorb a lot of product on the brush, which extends the life of whatever foundation or powder you are using.
Heroine is back! Yassss darlings it is back by popular demand. The announcement that M.A.C. would be adding Heroine as a permanent lipstick color in January 2014 (they offered it online only for the month of December), sent waves of excitement all through my body. This stunning matte dark purple (think Orchid, as in Pantone’s color of the year) shade was very popular when M.A.C. released it last summer as part of it’s Fashion Sets for a limited time. If you like purple or are looking to try something new, make sure you grab this for your collection.
Urban Decay has recently introduced their Naked 3 eye shadow palette. It is the third in a series of bronze-hued neutrals eye shadows from the make-up company. So what makes this one so special? Well you not only get 12 new and exclusive shadows, but this time around they are all rose-hued neutrals – WHOO HOO because pinky under-tones look good on many of us. BONUS love points for this product because Urban Decay gives you a pretty nice double-ended shadow brush.
