I love sharing great finds, brainstorms, and really whatever the heck is on my mind! Sometimes many of these things and ideas are pretty HAWT and even thought provoking (go figure). Since I do have my own little space in the world to share, I figured why the hell not share with some of my favorites peeps…how freakin’ lucky are you?!?! Each month I will bring you The HAWT Report with great fashion finds, cool gadgets, health and beauty must-haves, exciting trends, and whatever else I feels fits!
Short Hair Don’t Care
Do the big chop or even a baby chop to upgrade your look. Houston’s own Queen B just did it (see picture below), in what I’m calling the cut heard around the world! I love changing my hair because it’s an easy way to reinvent yourself and to give your look a refresh. If you aren’t feeling a cut, then consider adding a little color or even some extensions. Come on… it’s only hair and it does grow back.
Make a Statement with Your Eyes
Many folks are not big fans of liquid eyeliner, because they hate the thin brush applicators. NO worries with Eyeko London Skinny Liquid Eyeliner, because it has a felt-like pen applicator, which makes it easy to apply very fine lines or thick flicks on the eyes. This liner provides an intense rich color, along with a long-lasting no smudge finish. Feel free to jump up and say, “Thanks Swanky Girl, you’re the shit!”…well maybe that’s a bit much. But trust me you will love it!
Great Investment Piece
Having a good lightweight jacket or blazer (or both) in your collection is always a smart investment. It works great to transition from one season to the next, and can even take you from the boardroom to happy hour with just a quick change of accessories. This jacket, from J.Crew, is HAWT anyway you look at it! I would rock it with boyfriend jeans and heels for a little bar hopping on the weekend. Then pair it with a color popping blouse and pencil skirt for a Monday morning business meeting. The possibilities are only limited by your mind and creativity; as I always say, “do you boo” and dare to be different!
