In honor of National Healthy Skin Month, I’ve decided to share some of the products that have helped me keep my skin on track this Fall. These last few months I’ve been having more breakouts than usual. So my products had to be able to get me back on track, and all these performed better than expected.

Banila Co. Clean It Zero Resveratrol and Urban Skin Rx Even Tone Cleansing Bar

Urban Skin Rx Even Tone Cleansing Bar

Yes, it’s called a cleansing bar, and yes it comes in a jar which is hella cool! This product promotes brighter and healthier looking skin while treating uneven skin and those unwanted dark spots, thanks to a blend of kojic and azelaic acids.

Banila Co. Clean It Zero Resveratrol

I’m always willing to try out a new cleansing balm (click here to check out some of my favorite balms), and the Banila original Clean It Zero formula has gotten raved about for years! The thing about this balm is its sorbet-like texture becomes a milky oil to remove makeup and dirt and grime from the elements. This particular one does all that, plus with the addition of Resveratrol helps to prevent damage from free radicals.

Essense with Femented Yeast

Missha Time Revolution The First Essense Treatment

Missha Time Revolution First Treatment Essence

If you know anything about Korean Beauty, you know that fermented skincare is a huge deal and many swear by it. I felt it was only fitting that I try-out and add this holy grail product, the Missha Time Revolution, to my collection! Lucky for me it was just recently upgraded, and the new formula contains more than 90% fermented yeast extract from Himalayan purple barley to effectively plump skin, refine texture, and reduce pigmentation even better than before! It makes my skin appears bouncier, more moisturized, and my pores appear smaller.

Sunday Riley Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask, Korres Wild Rose Brightening Oil, and CosRx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence

CosRx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence

Repeat after me…BRING ON the snail slime! Okay well, the proper name would be snail mucin, and this slime mucin provides hydration and a visible reduction in acne scarring. So before you ask, here are a few deets that you may want to know. This water-based essence does have a gloopy, slight tacky initial feel but it does not feel that way once it dries down. It has no scent which is a good thing in my opinion. I love the fact that it hydrates my skin without clogging my pores!

Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Active Brightening Oil

Can I proclaim my love for anything with rose oil! It’s good for when you have dry skin, it is great for acneic skin, and serves as a fantastic anti-inflammatory! This one from Korres has wild rose petals and a large concentration of Vitamin C to make the skin brighter; while also improving the skin’s tone and texture. Another reason to love this oil is the fact that it’s super light and fast absorbing. I could see a difference after only four days.

Sunday Riley Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask

Since I suffer from the occasional breakout, and the last few months I’ve experienced lots of congestion around the jawline and general breakouts, getting my hands on Sunday Riley’s Saturn Mask was a must!  It launched in the summer, and I’ve been hearing folks rave about this sulfur treatment mask that helps fight multiple forms of acne while preventing future breakouts.

The sulfur smells like straight SULFUR, but don’t let that be a deal breaker. This products claim to fame is that it penetrates pores to dry and clear up existing acne while preventing new blemishes from forming. It treats multiple forms of acne, including blocked, congested pores, inflammatory acne, hormonal acne, and acne rosacea.

What skin care products are you reaching for this season?

Until soon…Toodles
